This spring we are excited to expand our regional footprint with a combined Middle School & High School girls team, giving players the opportunity to extend their season and compete against other regional programs from across Iowa, including teams from Cedar Rapids, the Quad Cities, and Des Moines. As the local season played under Olympic rules winds down in April, interested players from both the middle school and high school age groups are combined from our Dubuque-area teams to form age-appropriate regional rosters that transition into college-style 12v12 play later in the spring. Given the larger roster size, most other regional teams across the state allow middle school players to play up to the high school level. We will follow this standard for any families who choose to explore this opportunity.
This pathway provides a different competitive experience – focused on positional instruction, expanded game structure, and regional matchups – while keeping travel within approximately three hours. Participation in Girls Regional Travel is included at no additional cost within our Spring 2026 registration, giving families flexible access to both local and regional opportunities under one price.
