Iowa Youth Lacrosse is the only program in the region offering middle school (14U) lacrosse, and we’re building both boys & girls teams now! Our goal is to quickly form teams of 6-11+ players, starting in Dubuque and expanding to Galena, Platteville, Cascade, Epworth, and beyond as more players join from each area. Every new team reduces overall travel, making local lacrosse more accessible for everyone.
Until we establish at least three distinct middle school teams, we have opportunities to compete against teams in Cedar Rapids, Bettendorf, and Moline to ensure plenty of game action.

Spring Season Details
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays April 8 – June 5 with Monday & Wednesday options starting April 14
Times: Expected 6:45 pm – 7:30 pm
Location: Burrows Field – Clarke University (1535 Clarke Drive, Dubuque) with inclement weather location of Robert and Ruth Kehl Center (1555 Clarke Dr, Dubuque, IA 52001)
How It Works
- Players from all participating communities will play within the Iowa Youth Lacrosse system
- Teams are formed with a minimum of 6 or more players (6+), following a 6v6 or 8v8 format with some flexibility to accommodate different team sizes.
- Communities with parent volunteers can work with us to establish their own Middle School teams, with our full support, to practice and play locally within this house league structure.
